Kenneth Williams, MD, is a General Surgery resident at University of California, San Francisco – East Bay in Oakland, CA. He grew up in Albany, NY and attended Union College for his undergraduate studies where he majored in Neuroscience with a minor in sociology. He then went on to teach middle school math in Chicago, IL through the Teach for America program. From there he went on to receive his MD from Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. His research interests are geriatric surgical care, surgical palliative care, and health disparities. In his free time, he enjoys listening to podcasts, going to the gym, playing tennis, and sampling the local cuisine.
