Terhas Asfiha Weldeslase, MD is a general surgery resident at Howard University Hospital and is a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research student at Georgetown University. She completed her Doctor of Medicine from Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine in Ethiopia. Her research interests include surgical outcomes and their association with neighborhood socioeconomic status using different geospatial mapping indexes in the US. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and swimming.
