Daniel Robert Stelzl, MD

Research Fellow

Mentor: Quoc Dien-Trinh, MD, MBA

Dr. Stelzl is a urology resident at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf in Germany. Daniel Is working with Dr. Trinh during his research fellowship in Boston. He has an interest in prostate cancer treatment, reconstructive urology and disparities in treatment using electronic healthcare databases.

Daniel completed his Doctorate in Medicine at the Medical University of Innsbruck in Austria. After finishing med-school, he did a year of clinical research on neglected tropical diseases including Malaria and Loa Loa at the Centre de Recherchés Medicalés de Lambaréné in Gabon before starting his residency in Hamburg Germany. In his free time Daniel enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.
