Douglas Smink, MD, MPH
Douglas Smink, MD, MPH is the program director for General Surgery Residency at BWH and the associate chair of Education in the Department of Surgery. He is an sssociate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Smink’s research interests are in surgical education and simulation, as well as outcomes in minimally invasive surgery. His education research focuses on the use of simulation in improving surgeons technical and communication skills through both skills practice and team training.
