Kristin Madenci, MD, MPH
Dr. Madenci completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she went on to receive her medical degree. She holds an MPH from the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. She completed her general surgery residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Fellowship from the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. She was also an Arthur Tracy Cabot research fellow at the Center for Surgery and Public Health at the Brigham. She completed a trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center of the University of Maryland.
Dr. Madenci’s research interests include surgical workforce inequities, surgical education, and the utility of damage control laparotomies in EGS.
