Daniel Hoffman, MD

Daniel Hoffman, MD, is a general surgery resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Daniel grew up in Chappaqua, New York. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in molecular biology and a certificate in neuroscience. From there he completed medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he conducted clinical outcomes research in breast surgical oncology. Clinically, Daniel plans to specialize in trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care. His current research interests include measuring patient-reported outcomes for palliative surgical procedures, as well as examining utilization of palliative care in acute care surgery patients. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys hiking, traveling, and anything related to Liverpool Football club.
