Filippo Dagnino, MD

Filippo Dagnino, MD,  is a urology resident at the Humanitas Clinical and Research Hospital in Milan. He attended the school of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genova and graduated in 2022, discussing a thesis about the preoperative role of PSMA PET/CT in performing radical prostatectomy plus lymphadenectomy for high-risk prostate cancer. In medical school, he developed a strong interest in urological clinical and research activities. He also completed a 3-months Erasmus Traineeship experience at Evelina London Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Urology Department.  

A few months after graduating from the school of Medicine and Surgery, he started his first year as a Urology resident at Humanitas Clinical and Research Hospital in Milan. He is greatly interested in urologic oncology research, especially in prostate cancer and the disparities related to prostate cancer treatment outcomes.

When he is not working, he loves to spend his time playing sports and traveling.
