Angela M. Bader, MD
Angela M. Bader, MD, MPH is a professor of anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and vice chair for Perioperative Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is the founding director of the Weiner Center for Preoperative Evaluation, which is considered a benchmarking unit for preoperative assessment and quality improvement. Dr. Bader’s research focuses on defining and increasing the appropriateness of surgical care with a focus on aligning patient values and goals to ensure concordance with surgical goals.
