Lag time between state-level policy interventions and change in COVID-19 outcomes
July 9, 2021
A new study from researchers, including CSPH faculty Tanujit Dey, PhD, provides insights into the lag time between state-level interventions and change in COVID-19 outcome trajectory in the United States. Particularly, the study finds that there is a change in COVID-19 outcomes approximately 10-14 days after state-level policy implementation. The study team hopes that this work will help health officials be more proactive in responding to health crises.
