Dr. Jasmine Khubchandani is completing her 3rd year of General Surgery residency at Mass. General Hospital (MGH). She aims to become an academic surgeon who conducts health disparities/outcomes research and leads the translation of evidence-based policy advancement. As the daughter of immigrants who grew up in an underserved community, she strives toward empowering vulnerable individuals to achieve wellness and improving the system within which they function. She believe that the foundation to create change is rigorous, structurally sound research. Her research interests include racial and ethnic health disparities, healthy policy, and breast surgery. Her current research is on The Provider Awareness and Cultural Dexterity Toolkit for Surgeons (PACTS) Trial and on Microaggressions Among MGH Residents. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, all things chocolate, painting, bargain hunting and Drake.
