Randall “Randy” Bloch is a general surgery resident at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston with an interest in vascular surgery. Randy’s research interests are in health economics and health services research as well as clinical outcomes research. Specifically, he is interested in exploring the value of surgical care and how quality is related to costs. Randy completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Maryland. While in medical school, Randy gained experience with healthcare cost-related work through a fellow with the Health Policy Fellowship Initiative (HPFI) in Washington, DC.
