Michael Dalton, MD, MPH

A native of New Jersey, Michael is a PGY-2 general surgery resident at RWJBarnabas Health in Livingston, NJ. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and then went on to complete a Master of Public Health degree in health policy and management from the Yale University where he was the JD Thompson Health Policy Fellow. He attended the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, graduating with his MD. After residency, Michael plans to pursue a career in trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery. His current research interests include prehospital and trauma care systems and acute care surgical outcomes. Outside of medicine, Michael enjoys playing polo, officiating ice hockey, traveling, and scuba diving.
