Dr Jolene Wong is a consultant surgical oncologist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Medicine with consecutive Dean’s list awards and completed her General Surgical residency training in 2018. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and holds a Master of Medicine (Surgery). Since 2019, Jolene has completed two surgical fellowships at the Singapore General Hospital and Ghent University Hospital, Belgium respectively, and subspecializes in the management of peritoneal malignancies, sarcoma, and advanced gastro-intestinal tumors. Her current research interest is in palliative surgery and surgical oncology and focuses on evaluating the quality of care amongst the terminally ill and the implementation of healthcare interventions that can improve overall end-of-life experience. In her free time, she enjoys water sports and running.
