Jessica Feliz, MD, is a general surgery resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She initially attended Clemson University where she was involved with Army ROTC, before transferring to the College of William and Mary to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she found her passion in surgery. At CSPH, she will be pursuing her research interests in surgical outcomes, healthcare disparities, and quality improvement with a focus in the vascular surgery patient population. As one of the surgical representatives in the House-staff Quality and Safety Council at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Feliz also helps to evaluate, implement, and lead quality improvement initiatives within the Department of Surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys running with her dog, Huckleberry, learning about wine, caring for her many plants, sewing, painting, and searching for antiques at estate sales.
