Ava Ferguson Bryan, MD, is a general surgery resident at The University of Chicago, a Masters of Public Health student at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and an incoming ACS-MacLean Center Surgical Ethics Fellow at The University of Chicago. She holds a masters in humanities from The University of Chicago, and has a background in qualitative research. Her academic interests are bioethics, healthcare equity, and access to care; her clinical interests are thoracic and endocrine surgery.
