Benjamin Allar, MD, MPH

Dr. Benjamin Allar is a general surgery resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and CSPH lead fellow for 2022-2023. He completed his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University and his Master of Public Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. He currently serves on the Wellness Committee and House Staff Quality Improvement Council at BIDMC. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society’s Committee on Public Health. His primary research interests include surgical health disparities, clinician bias, and surgical outcomes In his free time, he enjoys cooking, golfing, and tending to his very small garden.
