Priscilla K. Gazarian Ph.D. RN an Associate Professor of Nursing at the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Nurse Scientist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Gazarian received a doctorate in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Gazarian’s research interests focus on patient engagement in care to prevent harm. She is interested in engaging and preparing patients to participate in advance care planning. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care and working with other Massachusetts Nurse Faculty to develop standard nursing curriculum competencies related to serious illness care.
