Mohamad El Moheb, MD is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School. He obtained his MD degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in May 2019 and then pursued a 6-week intensive program in health sciences research (SHARP) at AUB. He has published over 25 high quality manuscripts in top journals including JAMA and Annals of Surgery, and has presented at multiple national scientific meetings. His research interests relate to understanding the long-term outcomes after injury and the impact of substance abuse on clinical outcomes. Dr. El Moheb is an aspiring surgeon and intends to pursue his general surgery training upon completion of his fellowship.
