Dae Kim, MD, MPH, ScD, is a geriatrician and clinical investigator at the Hebrew SeniorLife Marcus Institute for Aging Research and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kim also is clinician in the division of gerontology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the division of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  His research focuses on measurement of frailty in Medicare claims data, frailty implementation for older adults with serious illness in geriatrics clinic, evaluation of drug effectiveness and safety in older populations with frailty, and preoperative frailty assessment to predict functional outcomes after cardiac surgical procedures.
