Manuel Castillo-Angeles, MD, MPH

Mentor: Ali Salim, MD

Manuel Castillo-Angeles, MD, MPH is a postdoctoral research fellow at the CSPH. Under the mentorship of Ali Salim, MD, at the Division of Trauma, Burn and Surgical Critical Care, his research focuses on long-term outcomes of emergency general surgery and trauma surgery and improving organ donation outcomes through collaborations with the New England Organ Bank. He also provides statistical support for a variety of projects. After Manuel received his medical training at Cayetano Heredia University in Peru, he completed a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to joining the CSPH, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Department of Surgery.
